Windsor Primary School (WPS), with a student population of approximately 210, catering for students from Prep to Year 6, is located in Hornby St on a landscaped site in the quiet residential area of Windsor.
It has easy access to public transport, vibrant Chapel St precinct, the local library and a variety of parks and gardens. The school was first opened as Windsor Primary School in 1877 and today is known as Stonnington Primary School utilising the beautiful, original brick building which is now of historical significance.
Windsor Primary School boasts a diverse cultural and socio-economic mix, resulting in a rich environment that reflects the diversity found in the wider community. Elite gymnasts from the VIS High Performance Centre add another dimension to the school.
